Apple has officially released iOS 16.5 for iPhone to the public. iOS 16.5 has some cool new features.
Update Battery Percentage
New to iOS 16.5 is the battery percentage required to update OTA. Before 16.5 you had to have at least 50% to install an update, now you can update as long as you have at least 20% battery life.
New Pride Wallpaper
A new Pride Celebration wallpaper for the Lock Screen to honor the LGBTQ+ community and culture. This wallpaper is dynamic and has some fresh animations. The pride wallpaper also supports iPhones with always on display.
Sports Tab In News App
Apple has added a new tab in the News App dedicated for sports. Previously there was a “search” tab and a “following” tab. Apple combined those 2 tabs into 1 to make room for sports.
Set List In Apple Music
New to Apple Music in iOS 16.5 is Set List. This allows you to see your favorites music artist tour dates and locations within the app. The Set List also has music playlists of songs that the artist might be performing in their shows.
Apple has also added 40+ new guides in Apple Maps related to music. You can browse the best venues to see live music in certain locations.
