AirTag battery level is very easy to find. Simply launch the FindMy app select “items” from the bottom tab and click on the AirTag you wish to view the battery. The icon is easy to miss as I did not know it even existed. Unfortunately it does not show an actual percentage but rather just the icon with level.
A wishlist item of mine for iOS 16 is that Apple adds the ability to customize the batteries widget to allow us to choose which apple items we want to see battery levels of. Adding the ability to see AirTag battery there would be very useful i think.
