A long awaited feature for Delta Emulator app on iPhone has been teased by the creator. Riley Testut posted a short video of him earning a retro achievement in super mario world. This is a feature I myself have been wanting for a very long time.

What is RetroAchievements?
RetroAchievements is an online community and platform that adds Xbox-style achievements to classic video games, specifically retro games played through emulators. It gives you extra challenges and goals while playing old-school games, kind of like modern achievement systems on consoles like PlayStation, Xbox, or Steam.
Here’s how it works:
• You play ROMs of classic games (like NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, Game Boy, etc.) on supported emulators.
• Those emulators are connected to your RetroAchievements account.
• As you complete certain tasks or milestones in the game (like beating a boss, collecting all items, finishing the game without dying, etc.), you unlock achievements.
• Your progress and achievements are tracked on the RetroAchievements.org website, where you can compare with friends or the community.
It makes playing retro games more rewarding and competitive, giving you new reasons to revisit old favorites.
